Nice to know....

A bit about me...
After living in America, I returned home and set to work as a Training Consultant for a large Telecommunications company which took me all over the UK.

Since having twins 13 years ago I decided to embark on a career change and what better way than to spread the word; to encourage and show others what I love doing - Exercise!!! The twins constantly keep me busy, but I try and find 'me' time to keep fit & healthy!  Afterall, we are only here the once, and we need to look after ourselves.

I trained at Leeds Metropolitan University and qualified through Northern Fitness and Education, gaining a YMCA Level 2 in Exercise and Fitness (Theory and Practical - like X Factor!).  To build my confidence in teaching I remained with holding session aimed at Adults.  My love to help and coach others into becoming fitter and healthier then gave me the confidence to return to studying where I qualified to teach children from Tot's to Teens Health Related Exercise and Activities.  So glad I took that next stage, in my opinion it really is super important to keep our kids healthy and active, to help develop their confidence and pride in themselves, whilst having fun of course!

As part of my own personal development, I regularly attend fitness conventions, workshops and courses throughout the U.K to keep my knowledge up to date. Including a proud BOOT CAMP instructor, working out, outside is not only fabulous for your Body but your mind too!!

I enjoy teaching group fitness, especially the challenge of BOOT CAMP for Leeds City FC!!

Private Group sessions is very popular too, for example : Teachers at local schools, after school fitness session, helping to maintain a healthy balanced work/play lifestyle. Local groups of Mum's, within private surroundings of their homes & gardens.

As well as my public community classes held locally with Adults and Children, I also work closely supporting the local Leeds Primary Care Trust, delivering various private keep fit classes to adults.

I love to support local Beavers, Brownies & Cubs, assisting in the acheivement of vairous badges. A proud British Heart Foundation voluteer, continued supporter and fundraiser for Cancer Research and MND.
